X–Festival is een cross–disciplinair, visionair, inspirerend en stimulerend ideeën–festival op het kruispunt van wetenschap, technologie en kunst met het oog op een creatieve en duurzame toekomst.
X–Festival wil verschillende werelden samenbrengen, innovatie en creativiteit stimuleren via cross–overs, nieuwe grenzen en horizonten exploreren en een Big–Bang zijn voor reflectie en actie.
Essentieel voor het DNA van X–Festival zijn de ruimte voor kritische vraagstelling en debat en de ambitie om verder te reiken dan de vrijblijvendheid door het aanzetten en uitdagen tot creatieve actie.
X–Festival 2021
Door de covid-omstandigheden gaat X–Festival 2021 door in een gereduceerd format, met enkel crossover X-tentoonstellingen gedurende 10 dagen (van 20/10/2021 tot en met 29/10/2021) in Campus Diepenbeek (Gebouw D) met o.a. het nieuw X-LAB-paviljoen dat in opbouw is. Voor wie?
X–Festival 2021 is er voor studenten, onderzoekers uit verschillende disciplines, beleidsmakers, architecten, kunstenaars, designers, ondernemers, pers en het brede publiek die geïnspireerd willen worden en de toekomst op een creatieve en out–of–the–box manier vorm willen geven.
X–Festival is a cross–disciplinary, visionary, inspirational and stimulating ideas festival at the crossroads of science, technology and art towards a creative and sustainable future. X–Festival aims to bring together different worlds, to stimulate innovation through cross–overs, to explore new frontiers and horizons and to be a Big–Bang of reflection and action.

Due to the covid-circumstances the edition of X-FESTIVAL2021 will take place in a reduced format of only crossover eXhibitions for a period of 10 days (20-29 October 2021) in Campus Diepenbeek (including the new X-LAB pavilion).
